They returned my call and made an appointment for their service guy to come over and fix the door. The Serviceman was on time, explained what needed to be done to fix the door as well as to recomend new cables as the old ones were frayed and told me the price. He made the repairs in a timely manner and charged us what he said he would. Empire was professional in that they communicated well and did what they said they would do at a fair price.

Rarely write reviews but I have to say I highly recommend Empire Overhead Doors. Receptionist is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the process. They set up a very reasonable 2... read more hour arrival window and send you a text when the technician is on their way. They even text you the technicians name and brief background which is a nice touch. Graham was my technician back in the fall when my torsion springs wore out and had them replaced in short order. Laid out various other preventive maintenance options which was helpful but ultimately just replaced the springs. Just today I had they come out again because my opener seemingly had failed. Graham came out again and diagnosed the issue in 10 seconds and said the safety sensor at the bottom had been slightly bent which was preventing the system from working. He bent it back and it was good as new. He immediately called the office and did not charge me given it was such a simple fix but I appreciated it nonetheless. I said eventually something will fail on my system again and I’ll be sure to give them my business because of the quality service I’d received to date.

Empire recently installed a new garage door and opener for me. They were a pleasure to work with, from the first phone call until final visit from them. I had a complicated ceiling situation and only Empire had the skill and creativity to figure out how to install an opener. Shortly after installation, the opener began to open and then close, and refuse to close on its own schedule. Empire was very prompt in their service visits to make everything work properly. Jamie on the phone, Graham installing and Bob as the troubleshooter were all very understanding and helpful. Theyworked hard and replaced parts until my door was working perfectly. I am very pleased with the service I received from this stellar company. I highly recommend them.

As promised the tech ( Graham) showed up on time accessed the situation quoted me a very fair price that I agreed too. Empire Overhead Doors technician Robert arrived two business days later.... read more In less than 1.5 hours he replaced the springs, cables, rollers, etc. The door has never worked this well, easy, to lift and very quiet. A fair, not cheap price for a job well done and well worth the price. Robert did an excellent job of explaining and showing me what he was doing regarding old and replacement parts. Jamie was also very helpful regarding date and time of technician visits and available options. Everyone I spoke to was very informative and cordial.

On the day of service, they were able to show up 2 hours early.. They also have an automated system that lets you know when they are arriving, so you revived a 20 min warning. I worked with Graham to review issues and he recommend one of their packages to replace the cables, springs, rollers, and pulleys. Everything works great, and it was done in under an hour. Also everything is under a warranty for 3 years. Could not be happier. Excellent work!!
